2024/2025 Registration is Now Open!

Who's excited for hockey season?! WE ARE! We are excited to get our players registered and ready to hit the ice in October!

The WHA offers payment plans to help disperse the cost throughout the season, and financial aid is available to qualifying families through the Willmar Hockey Boosters.

Please visit the WHA website for more information and to register today for all WHA programs including Squirts through Bantams, 10U and 12U.  More information regarding the Rec programs will be sent at a later time.

Registration will remain open until August 10th. 

The WHA warm-up/early clothing order will be open soon! All registered families will receive an email with a link to the website once the warm up order is open.

Additionally, if your son or daughter has outgrown their hockey gear and/or you're looking to get new gear, the WHA recommends the following colors:

• Gloves: Red/White
• Helmet: White
• Breezers: Red

ALERT - Neck guards will be required this year starting August 1st, so players will not be able to participate in WHA activities until they have one.

ALL PARENTS WHO WILL BE VOLUNTEERING DURING THE SEASON IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING ROLES (TEAM MANAGER,  COMMITTEE MEMBER, LOCKER ROOM MONITOR OR BOARD MEMBER) MUST COMPLETE THESE REQUIREMENTS:

• Register as a Volunteer with USA Hockey for the 24-25 season. There is no cost to a volunteer membership and this MUST BE DONE EVERY YEAR. You'll be asked to enter your volunteer confirmation number during your player's WHA registration. To register as a VOLUNTEER with USA Hockey, click HERE 

• Complete SafeSport Training . There is no cost and this MUST BE DONE EVERY YEAR. You will get information and a link to this training in an email from USA Hockey once you complete your registration as a volunteer in the step above. No need to send confirmation of completion to anyone. SafeSport will report to Willmar Hockey when you have completed your training. The link to SafeSport Training can be found by clicking HERE 

• If you did not complete the background check last year, you must complete the MN Hockey Screening ($30). The background screening is good for 2 years. Registration link for the background screening can be found by clicking HERE
