Parents: please download the registration packet below and print out. Also, because we had some recent changes to the Consent to Treat form and the Waiver form, I've added new links to those pages below. Please also print these two forms and fill them out in place of the ones in the registration packet.
Also, new this year is online Registration with USA Hockey
USA Hockey is requiring that either the parent/guardian or the Association register each player online and electronically pay the fees due to USA and MN Hockey. As such, we strongly encourage you to follow the registration guidelines to register with USA Hockey on-line and prepay the fees required. At WHA registration night you will give us your receipt, we will scan it and the receipt will be placed in the team book along with your player's paperwork. WHA will then remove the amount prepaid from your dues requirement. If you have any issues or concerns you can simply register Monday night as normal, and we will process the MN and USA hockey fees by registering on-line on your behalf.
Players and coaches may not be on the ice until registered with USA hockey and WHA will not register you until the registration fee is paid.
- Go to www.usahockeyregistration.com and click on 'Ice Players and Coaches'.
- Check the box and click 'Continue' if you are 18 or over.
- Select the 2008-2009 season
- Follow the rest of the step-by-step process online.
- Remember to save and print your confirmation number. you need to bring that printed confirmation page with to WHA registration on Sept. 8th. An email confirmation will be sent to the email address you provide once the registration is complated.
- Note: There is a $40 fee to register with USA Hockey. A cred/debit card is required to complete the on-line registration. This fee is waived for players age 6 and under.
WHA encourages any and every child wanting to play to participate. If membership dues are a factor in your child not playing- scholarships are available confidentially through the WIllmar Blue Line Club. Contact Glenn Bangen for more information at 320-235-7857. Application available HERE.
